The leather we use comes from the American Bison and it’s been tanned to perfection. We’ve been perfecting the leather since 1972 and have an amazing recipe for it now. What a nice checkbook cover. It’s solidly made and looks to solve any problems with protecting my checks. It would be nice to have a piece of plastic incorporated into it to handle duplicate checks. They did include cardboard which sort of accomplishes the same thing but not so nicely.
