Description

American Bison Wool and Merino Blend
The base yarn blends 20% soft bison undercoat with 80% merino wool.
Performance for Hiking
The breathable blend of Bison and Merino wool helps move moisture away from your feet as you hike. Extra padding keeps your feet comfortable.

Warmth in Changing Conditions
Bison down and merino help regulate temperature from cool trailheads to warmer afternoons, keeping your feet comfortable and cozy during your adventures.
Knit in USA
For three generations we’ve raised bison in Idaho. We’ve now begun using the wool for our own Bison Down socks. They’re knit in USA by our hosiery manufacturer partners. Through this business it is our goal to support American business and the re-establishment of Bison in North America.

Stretch that holds it’s shape
Nylon and spandex help the socks flex with your feet and keep their shape through regular wear.
What are Bison Down wool socks made of?
These socks are knit in the USA with a base yarn made from 80% merino wool and 20% American bison down, the soft fiber from a bison’s undercoat. Those percentages describe the base yarn. The finished socks also contain nylon and spandex to help them stretch, stay up, and hold their shape through regular wear and washing.
