Is Bison Leather Waterproof? What to Know Before Buying

Bison leather is not itself waterproof. The leather's finish and the construction of the complete item affect how it handles moisture. Our bison leather goods are intended for ordinary use with appropriate care, not as waterproof containers. If keeping contents dry is essential, use a product with an explicit waterproof specification suited to the exposure you expect.

This is an excellent wallet, but I  wish it were a little smaller version ( 1/2" in lenght and wt) of the same model. If you make one like this, I'll be back.
