Are the Bison raised for the leather only?

No. We love working with bison leather because the Bison are brought to market for food and the leather was not getting used. We have great respect for these creatures just as the Native American’s did. We saw an opportunity to salvage what was being wasted and became the first leather manufacturer in the USA to begin making products out of Bison hide. We have been recognized by the National Bison Association for these efforts and have appeared in their publication: National Bison World multiple times because of this.
